Walk the route before selecting the corner
Check gates, surfaces, obstacles and the area around the proposed door. Separate the route used by people from the access needed for vehicles and later service. Ask for the quoted model’s requirements rather than relying on a generic equipment footprint.
Leave instructions another person can use
Record the approved position, receiving contact and procedure for concerns or changes. Make sure the person at the property has the accepted details. Confirm the collection process and avoid moving or modifying equipment if the original arrangement no longer fits.
What to put in the property handover
Record the approved entrance and position, receiving person, periods of restricted access and the person responsible after use ends. Note changes planned around that area, such as paving, fencing or stored materials. A location pin alone cannot communicate this sequence.
Keep door space, the walking route and vehicle clearance separate when describing the layout. Send sensitive access details privately. If the agreed arrangement becomes impractical, contact the supplier for instructions before moving equipment or altering any connection.
